Business and Community Fundraising Manager – 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £26,963 – £29,608 per annum (depending on experience)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially-minded professional with a strong track record of successful fundraising in the voluntary sector. We are seeking a highly motivated fundraiser with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Experienced in building effective relationships and developing commercial opportunities with stakeholders you will also have experience of working closely with volunteers and an ability to work to agreed fundraising targets.

Are you able to demonstrate an ability to lead the development of the Business and Community Fundraising Strategy to significantly increase the charities income to support the strategic developments and growing costs of our care services?

Welfare Rights Advisor – 22.5 hours per week

Salary: £22,683 per annum (pro-rata)

An opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and enthusiastic individual with excellent knowledge of benefit entitlements and first rate communication skills to join Hospice of the Valleys as a Welfare Rights Advisor.

Working as part of the Family Support team, the successful candidate will assist patients, families and carers in maximising welfare benefit take up through the development of welfare benefits advice, and provide training, briefing and information to colleagues on issues concerning benefits and financial advice.
